DELAWARE ORGANIZATIONS

	The Barbara Gittings Delaware Stonewall Democrats' mission is to secure for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people the equal human rights guaranteed to all citizens by the Constitution of the United States and the laws of the State of Delaware; to foster the ideals of the Democratic Party; and to contribute to the Party’s growth and influence.
	CAMP Rehoboth is a nonprofit community service organization dedicated to creating a more positive environment in Rehoboth Beach and its related communities.
	COLAGE (Children Of Lesbians And Gays Everywhere) is a national movement with a Delaware chapter of children, youth, and adults with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer (LGBTQ) parent. "We build community and work toward social justice through youth empowerment, leadership development, education, and advocacy."
DEGLC	The Delaware Gay and Lesbian Communicator will keep you informed of many of the happenings in Delaware's LGBT Community.  To subscribe send an email to deglc-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. 	Delaware Liberty Fund is a political action committee which surveys candidates for state and local office on LGBT issues, publishes a voter guide for the LGBT community, endorses candidates and contributes money to their campaigns.
	Delaware Pride is dedicated to creating a more visible and united LGBT community throughout Delaware through outreach, education and referrals.  Delaware Pride is the organizer of the annual Delaware Pride Festival held each autumn.
	Delaware Right to Marry Political Action Committee is a joint project of pro-equality Delawareans and students at the University of Delaware. It is a registered PAC in the State of Delaware. An all-volunteer, small-budget, citizen-activist project and not affiliated with any political party, it is committed to achieving same-gender marriage—rather than civil unions—in Delaware.
	Equality Delaware's mission is to ensure and promote dignity, safety, and equality for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Delawareans. The group successfully spearheaded civil unions legislation for same-gender Delaware couples.
	Haven is the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allies group for students and faculty of the University of Delaware as well as for anyone else who wants to show up.  It is educational, political, supportive and social in nature.
	The J.U.S.T. for Youth Coalition is committed to increasing awareness, reducing risky behaviors and providing support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, trangender and questioning youth in Delaware.
	Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) of Wilmington/Northern Delaware promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersexual persons, their families and friends through support in coping with an adverse society. Educating, enlightening an ill-informed public, advocating, ending discrimination and securing civil rights, PFLAG also provides the opportunity for dialog about sexual orientation in confidential settings. 	The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware is a community chorus composed (get it?) of LGBT persons and their friends in a supportive and affirming environment.  The Chorale presents the positive face of Delaware's LGBT community through high quality musical performance, and supports other institutions and individuals who serve that community.
	"We are here to help each other understand and express our gender identity, to gain self-acceptance, to reach out to others like ourselves, and to educate the professional community and the public at large about transgenderism."
	The State of Delaware's official Web site includes a "General Assembly" tab with lawmakers' contact info and bill tracking.
	The University of Delaware Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Faculty/Staff Caucus is committed to fostering and sustaining a welcoming and affirming climate on campus for LGBT employees, students, families and visitors.

NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

	This site provides free tools for individuals and organizations interested in implementing The Dallas Principles: Full LGBT civil rights now. No delay. No excuses.
	Athlete Ally is a sports resource encouraging all involved in sports to respect every member of their communities, regardless of perceived or actual sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression, and to lead others in doing the same. It provides social advocacy campaigns, on-campus trainings, and practical tools, including resources to locate and learn about allied athletes, coaches, teams, athletic clubs and sports-based advocacy projects around the country.
	Founded by noted activist Mitchell Gold, this organization seeks to end religion-based bigotry toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
	The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
	The Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund is committed to increasing the number of openly gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender public officials at federal, state and local levels of government.
	The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
	The mission of GetEQUAL is to empower the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and our allies to take bold action to demand full legal and social equality, and to hold accountable those who stand in the way.
	The Give a Damn Campaign is in turn a project of the True Colors Fund, founded by Cyndi Lauper. The True Colors Fund works to inspire and engage everyone, especially the straight community, to get involved in the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.
	Using humor and irreverence rather than anger and protests, Good As You represents a new generation of LGBT activism through a progressive and light-hearted forum.  They're here to rally the troops!
	The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) effectively lobbies Congress; mobilizes grassroots action in diverse communities; invests strategically to elect a fair-minded Congress; and increases public understanding through innovative education and communication strategies.
	The Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund is committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgenders, and people with HIV or AIDS through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.
	Among other things, Live Out Loud organizes programs with members of the LGBT community who are passionate and powerful in their life’s work, who are making a difference in the community, and who are interested in sharing their story with LGBT youth. Their programs are held after school and recently at high school general assemblies in front of 200 or more students.
	Marriage Equality USA is an all-volunteer, national non-profit organization whose mission is to secure legally recognized civil marriage equality for all, at the federal and state level, without regard to gender identity or sexual orientation.
	The Matthew Shepard Foundation educates and enlightens on the importance of diversity, understanding, compassion, acceptance and respect; supports  diversity programs in education and helps youth organizations establish environments where young people can feel safe and be themselves; and seeks to replace hate with understanding, compassion and acceptance.
	The National Black Justice Coalition is a national civil rights organization of African-American lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies dedicated to fostering equality by fighting racism and homophobia.
	The National Center for Transgender Equality is a national social justice organization devoted to ending discrimination and violence against transgender people through education and advocacy on national issues of importance to transgender people.
	The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF or "The Task Force") works for the civil rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, with the vision and commitment to building a powerful political movement.
	Out 4 Immigration is a volunteer grassroots organization that addresses the widespread discriminatory impact of U.S. immigration laws on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV+ people and their families, through education, outreach, advocacy and the maintenance of a resource and support network.
	The Point Foundation provides financial support, mentoring and hope to meritorious students who are marginalized due to sexual orientation or gender identity.
	The mission of Scouting for All, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is to advocate on behalf of its members and supporters for the restoration of the traditionally unbiased values of Scouting as expressed and embodied in the Scout Oath and the Scout Law, and to influence the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to serve and include as participating members ALL youth and adult leaders, regardless of their spiritual belief, gender, or sexual orientation.
	The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) is devoted to assisting those affected by "don't ask, don't tell, don't pursue."
	The purpose of Soulforce is freedom for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people from religious and political oppression through the practice of relentless nonviolent resistance.
	"The Trevor Project is determined to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources, including our nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community, and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone." The 24/7 lifeline is 866 4-U-TREVOR (866-488-7386).
	Truth Wins Out is a non-profit think tank and educational organization that counters right wing disinformation campaigns, debunks the “ex-gay” myth, and provides accurate information about the lives of LGBT people.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

	Gay Rights at Change.org is a news site which includes issues and news from around the world and ways to take action on marriage equality, LGBT rights and other issues.
	The mission of the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) is to advance human rights for everyone, everywhere to end discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
	The mission of TransMentors International is to raise awareness and effect a positive change in issues which are specific to the Trans community.
